If you plan on getting married or engaged this year, you’ve probably already noticed that diamond wedding and engagement sets are not cheap. But if you still want to present your loved one with a ring that sparkles and impresses, you do have some options.
Naysayers often dismiss cubic zirconia engagement sets as fake engagement rings, but nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, unless you’re a phony yourself, a cubic zirconia is a pretty sincere deal.
For starters, the term Cubic Zirconia wedding ring refers specifically to the stone and not the setting. Many price conscious suitors opt for spending more money on a gold or platinum setting and make up for the difference by using CZ stones. And unless your loved one has an electron microscope or a degree in geology, it’s unlikely they’ll be able to tell a CZ from a diamond.
There’s no reason to start off your life as a married couple with a pile of bills you can’t pay. You’re not going to enjoy looking at that ring on her finger if all you can think about it how much you still owe on it. So do yourself a favor and give cubic zirconias a chance.
