'10,000 B.C.'

'10,000 B.C.' is an epic-adventure movie about man’s early days on earth, a time when man and beast were untamed and mammoth roamed the earth. The film follows a young hunter on his quest to lead an army across a vast desert, battling saber tooth tigers and various prehistoric predators. While on his mission, the hunter unearths a lost civilization and attempts to rescue the woman he loves from an evil warlord determined to possess her.

Directing '10,000 B.C.' is Roland Emmerich ('Independence Day', 'The Day After Tomorrow'), and starring in the movie are Steven Strait and Camilla Belle. Strait plays the role of the young hunter, D'Leh, while Belle plays his love interest.

Fact: Shooting locations for the film included New Zealand, Namibia and South Africa.
