MUSIC

Tribe is a band Steven started up with three of his friends. Steven does the lead vocals when he's available, Michael D'Andrilli is lead guitarist, Geoff Tilocca is on the drums, and Krisneo plays bass. Steven has classified their music in an interview as primarily rock and roll, but it really dependent on what the song is trying to convey. This is how the band describes their music:
"We have a style that is unique to us. We call it Thrash n Roll. We're a hard rock band with a bluesy feel that will knock you on your ass!!! Every song was written in a whiskey fueled drunken state in a studio in midtown Manhattan, so the songs reflect our honesty and straight-forward approach to music and life. We have at least 15 more songs that aren't on this demo which are more thought out and progressive, while keeping the groovy riffage and hard hitting feel..."

The band was signed with Lakeshore Records (the same record label that released the 'Undiscovered' and 'The Covenant' soundtracks) and will be releasing their first album in the near future.

Besides lending his music writing and vocal talent to his band, Steven also did the vocalizations on two soundtracks: one cover song in his first movie, 'Sky High', and seven songs in his first starring-role film, 'Undiscovered'.

UPDATE!! -- Steven is no longer a member of Tribe, having cited that he's too involved in his acting presently to pursue his music. Here's to hoping we won't have to wait *too* long to hear Steven's gorgeous voice in the future!
